Ornamental evergreen shrub of Pacific coast of North America having dark green pinnate leaves and racemes of yellow flowers followed by blue-black berries. Synonyms: holly-leaves barberry, hollygrape, Mahonia aquifolium, Oregon grape, Oregon holly grape.
