White-flowered pyrethrum of Balkan area whose pinnate leaves are white and silky-hairy below; source of an insecticide; sometimes placed in genus Chrysanthemum. Synonyms: Chrysanthemum cinerariifolium, Dalmatia pyrethrum, Dalmatian pyrethrum, pyrethrum.
